General Questions

  • While doctors and nurse practitioners have many similarities, there are some notable differences. As an NP, I care for my patients on a different level, of combining the care and compassion from my heart in addition to the pharmacologic and psychotherapeutic knowledge from my training. I provide a comprehensive perspective and personal touch to health care.

  • At my practice, I take a holistic approach to psychiatry, focusing on the whole person. While psychiatric medication may be part of the treatment plan, I also consider key factors like your lifestyle, sleep, exercise, nutrition, and overall health to provide personalized, comprehensive care.

  • Sessions vary from 20, 30 or 45 minutes, depending on whether they are for therapy or medication management.

  • I keep our sessions conversational and therapeutic, focusing on what’s happening in your life, how you're feeling, and your overall experience. While medication is part of the discussion, we spend most of our time exploring the bigger picture, ensuring we consider all aspects of your well-being.

  • You can schedule an appointment through the scheduling links on our contact page. Current clients can book directly via the "existing clients" link, while new clients can request an appointment by filling out the intake form under the "new client" link.

  • Yes, we accept Aetna and United Healthcare.

  • Initial appointments: $500 for 60-75 minute psychiatric assessment

    Follow ups: $225 for 20-30 minute medication management with brief psychotherapy

  • Yes, I offer video appointments through the link provided on the contact page.
